If the French know one thing, it’s food. So it’s no surprise that French Week is studded with events that celebrate French gastronomy, including Goût De France, or Good France, in which food lovers around the world will sit down to first class meals “à la française”, but with a twist – as global focus turns towards environmentally and socially responsible cuisine.

On March 21, 5,000 chefs on the planet’s five continents will be preparing classic French-styled meals. The event will be a celebration of the traditional, with a nod to the sustainable, showcasing ingredients that are locally farmed and produced, minimizing their footprint on our precious and fragile environment. Thalias is proud to be participating in these festivities with two menus – one to be featured at Khéma Pasteur and La Poste in Phnom Penh and Khéma Angkor in Siem Reap as well as a second to be presented at our flagship restaurant. Topaz, on an evening that will double as one of our popular Michelin Star Dinner events, with Guy Lassausaie at the helm in the kitchen.

To fully experience the festivities - to Feel French - make a booking for one of our Khéma outlets for March 21, where we will heavily feature some of the finest products from the Kingdom, including its famed seafood. The six-course menu features a pan-fried sea bream with crispy chorizo and red capsicum sauce, crab gratin, asparagus mousse, a traditional beef stroganoff, cheeses, and is rounded out with the classic Saint-Honore cake, all for $29.90++ per person.

Supported by the French Chamber of Commerce, French Week will be celebrated in both Siem Reap (7-10 March) and Phnom Penh (18-31 March), with the French Embassy to be transformed into a classic French market for a day (30 March). Khéma will be on hand there as well with a range of treats.
